Had a wonderful time at Backbone Bluegrass Festival south of Strawberry Point, IA last weekend. Had a couple weather scares and were even told by a highway patrolman to head to Strawberry Point for shelter during one of them - a tornado had been spotted north of us! We got soaked dropping our canopies and helping friends Mark and Joy drop their tent. But the weather cleared and we jammed with a lot of good folks and met up again with many bluegrass friends.
We're playing at a hogroast (private party) on Sunday afternoon... haven't done one of those for a long time!
and the joy easily spilled over to the audience. Well done!"
