We are excited to be asked to perform for a new venue - the Wapsi Wine Cellar located at 111 1st Street East in Independence. They also have a facebook page. We are looking forward to bringing some bluegrass music to Independence (as well as to taste some good wines!) After the gig: We had a wonderful time
performing the Wapsi Wine Cellar - great people! It is located in a
picturesque old building just over the bridge on the Wapsi River in downtown
Independence. The front part of the store is full of antiques with the
back half a charming wine bar. I loved their red-painted floors. The deck looks out to the Wapsi River.
They have wines from lots of Iowa wineries. Give them a visit when you
are in Independence!
