We've been pretty busy performing and now we're going to take some time off and enjoy what's left of summer. We were not too excited about performing in all the recent heat and mugginess, with sweat dripping into our eyes and soaking wet shirts. But I remind myself that the audience is just as uncomfortable, and they're still out there listening! Thanks, guys!
We filled in on stage at the Backbone Bluegrass Festival on Friday night and want to thank the organizers for the opportunity. Boy, did they have a tough job keeping everything going that weekend with up to 15 inches of rain! That was the weekend the dam at Delhi broke and Manchester was partially flooded. Backbone has always been one of our favorite festivals and we do appreciate all the hard work it takes to put it on. Thanks also to the town of Swisher, and to Ushers Ferry Folk Festival for having us. And to Carlis Faurot for filling in on fiddle - he rocks!
