Friday August 6th - SWISHER FUN DAYS
Riverbottom Ramblers will perform 5:00 to 7:00 pm (during the supper hour) at the Bandstand behind Dancemor Ballroom in Swisher Iowa.Saturday, August 7th - 1 p.m.
Saturday afternoon we'll be playing at a Tractor Ride (private event). Should be a hoot AND we get a delicious meal and kolaches too!
Sat., August 7 --- 5:00 to10:00 p.m. - USHERS FERRY FOLK FESTIVAL
- Ushers Ferry Historic Village, Cedar Rapids.
Bring your lawn chair or blanket, food & drinks! We've gone to this festival many times and really enjoyed it. We usually take along a picnic and spend a pleasant evening enjoying music. This year we are performing and have decided to do some "folkey bluegrass" as well as straight bluegrass. Gabe can't be there, so we have Carlis Faurot sitting in on fiddle (love it!). But that's only part of the night. Think I'll get some really good bread and cheese, maybe some fruit to nosh on, a bottle of wine ...ummm and c h o c o l a t e while I listen to the other performers!
