Don, Barb and Dean, and fantastic mandolin player, Bobby Geiger, will be performing from 2-4 p.m. on FRIDAY, AUGUST 3rd at Courthouse Square in downtown Tipton, Iowa as part of the "Celebrate Tipton" event. Here is the schedule.
Bobby is filling in for Mike, who is on vacation & Carlis, who has to work. The rest of us will be on vacation for August, but don't be surprised if we show up at upcoming bluegrass festivals! Just can't get enough of that good old bluegrass music!
In other news, Don, Dean and Barb went to Backbone Bluegrass Festival and had a GREAT time jamming with old and new friends, and listening to the stage shows. It was a cool weekend after weeks of super hot weather and we were very thankful for that too! It is still our favorite festival and if you haven't gone to it (just south of Strawberry Point, IA) you SHOULD!
