We really enjoyed picking with all the folks at the Central City Bluegrass Festival last weekend. Great time! Hope to go to Bloomfield in September. We'll be performing at the Eden Valley fest the second week in October.
I can't believe summer is almost over, but it was great to have some time off for vacation. Don and Barb had a wonderful trip to Northern Wisconsin during August, stayed in a cabin in the north woods and also visited the first guitar player in our band, Tim L., on Madeline Island in Lake Superior. Tim lined us up to perform (just the three of us) at "Tom's Burned Down Cafe" on the island. Craziest bar we ever saw! Dobro player Mike took off on a motorcycle trip and banjo player Dean is off in Wyoming somewhere.
